Hape Toys have transcended market expectations with the new Bamboo Sunshine Solar Dollhouse. This three-level dollhouse offers children eco-friendly materials combined with contemporary designs and modern technology, satisfying both a parent’s interest in green products and a child’s fascination with play. This doll house is equipped with adjustable, fully operational solar panels that capture light energy and relay it to four rechargeable batteries, which can be used to power the five LED lights the illuminate three rooms. The wiring for the working solar panel runs from the roof through the wall down to the first floor where the rechargeable batteries are located. There are LED lights in the media room upstairs and two lights in rooms downstairs. Bamboo is a sustainable, renewable and durable grass that can endure children’s play. Hape treats their bamboo products with a light, water-based stain and then polished with beeswax for a natural, satin protective finish. Three acrylic panels can serve as exterior or interior walls. These walls are pastel-colored and slide in the grooves of bamboo flooring on the first floor and the ceiling to separate rooms. Everything from the flooring to the bunk beds are made from bamboo, allowing the modern look to permeate the entire house. Included with this eco-friendly dollhouse are a family of five and furniture and accessories for all nine rooms. The family includes Dad, Mom, Brother, Sister, and Baby.
