This eco-friendly, laptop sleeve is made with a water-based material that uses 25% less petroleum and 25% less energy than neoprene to produce. GreenSmart developed “neogreene” to have the squishy, smooth feel of neoprene, but without any of the toxic VOCs (like in paint) used to glue fabrics to synthetic rubber. Neogreene completely eliminates the need to use toxin-laden solvent adhesives, VOCs, chlorine, and formaldehyde during production. Both the environment and the workers who produce these fun, laptop sleeves benefit from GreenSmart’s green innovations.

The design of this Akepa sleeve was inspired by the bird nest Olympic stadium in Beijing. Not only does it look great, but it offers excellent protection. This extremely light sleeve features a fuzzy, interior liner that is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles (rPET polyester) and its 4mm walls provide optimal padding. The Akepa sleeve also has a specially-designed, gusseted seam so your laptop will breathe. Not only can the insulated sleeve handle a hot laptop, but the laptop itself will cool down that much faster. Neogreene is waterproof too, so if you spill on the outside, no problem. This is truly no ordinary sleeve.
